At the Directorate of Mine Action Coordination (DMAC), our mission is to ensure the safety and well-being of Afghan communities by coordinating, managing, and overseeing the removal of landmines and explosive remnants of war. We aim to create a safe environment conducive to national development and prosperity. By collaborating with national and international partners, we lead efforts in mine clearance, risk education, victim assistance, and advocacy, ensuring that mine action activities in Afghanistan are conducted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with global standards.
